I will be posting these every Sunday at 2pm PST.
Enjoy.
~STAGE ONE: WRITE, WRITE, & WRITE SOME MORE.~
So you’ve written a book that you’re pretty proud of, am I right? The
smartest thing to do after writing a book is to put it away to let it
breathe. This could be for a couple of months—even six months. That
doesn’t mean that you will be sitting idly by—you will be moving on to
your next creation. The biggest point is to write, write, and write some more. This is the only way you are going to improve and hone your craft.
So the time is here to bring your hard-worked creation back out and
read over it for the first time in a while. Make sure you have a notepad
ready because more than likely you will begin to notice inconsistencies
or errors that you might have missed when originally writing it. This
is your chance to clean your story up. Revise-edit-revise-edit and so
on.
