This blog hop is designed to show our readers a
more personal side. We list seven interesting facts to help cast light onto
that tough writer’s persona we all like to project. But I am human and like everyone
else I have dreams, hobbies, problems and goals. I see this as a way to share
some of them with you, my readers.
The rules are that I share 7 Lovely Facts about
myself, and links to at least 15 blogs that I enjoy reading. If I’ve nominated
your blog, please don’t feel any obligation to join in, but if you do please
link back to the blog of the person who nominated you (that would be me), share
7 facts about yourself and nominate 15 blogs (or as many as you can).
Thanks are in order to Chess Desalls, author of Travel Glasses, for adding me to the blog tour! Chess
is a YA sci-fi and fantasy author that I had the pleasure of meeting because
she took part in Indie
Fall Fest!
1.)
I
am a singer, actress, and author. I guess creativity runs through my veins. I
don’t enjoy one more than the other, but love all three equally.
2.)
I
wrote my first book as a sophomore in high school and ended up putting it away
for ten years before deciding to revisit and rewrite. I released My Forever in
May of this year.
3.)
I
was in a pop-singing group called Bliss for five years, a band for 1 year, and
a rap-singing duo for 6 months. My musical taste is definitely eclectic.
4.)
Besides
writing, I am currently in a pop/r&b duo called DarienMae, we create our
own beats, write our own lyrics, and design our own masterpieces.
5.)
My
third novel, Pieces of Me, has the most realistic elements weaved throughout
it. I used real friends personalities, real life insecurities, real
conversations, real lyrics, etc. When people tell me they could relate, there
is no feeling in the world quite like it.
6.)
I’ve
had some pretty eclectic careers. From working as a manager in an ice-cream
shop to being the VP of Operations for an entertainment agency and now working
in the film industry, I have done it all.
7.)
I
lost 70+ lbs in about 2 months. I thought I had a chronic illness…turns out it
was simply a stomach infection. People ask me all the time how I did it…I just
reply, “I got sick?”
Some of my favorite bloggers are listed below. Participation is optional, of
course. If you have already been tagged for this, so sorry! If not, share some
of you with the rest of us. Check out the linked books and blogs!
Candace’s Book Blog is one I
visit on a weekly basis as they always participate in #BoostitTuesday. They are
one of the founders of BIT and constantly highlight new authors, cover reveals,
book blitzes, etc.
Obsessed by Books is
run by the lovely Maria. She was one
of the first reviewers to read my Infinite Love series. What I love about her
is that she is always down to help out indie authors!
Pretty Little Pages
is run by my friend and fellow writer, Kristen!
She is also my PA. Kristen was one of
the first people to ever review my books and we hit it off. We’ve maintained a
close relationship ever since.
Relaxed Reads is run by the lovely Lou! She is a member of my street team
and also a wonderful person. She is constantly helping us Indies out!
Every Free Chance is also a founder
of #BoostitTuesday. They are constantly looking for ways to get more exposure
for authors and I absolutely love that!
Amanda
Hocking is the author of the Trylle series, the Watersong series,
the My Blood Approves series, etc. She was one of the first authors to become a
millionaire off of Amazon by self-publishing her books for .99 cents. I love
going to her blog and reading how she did it. It is so inspirational.
Ilanaatwinebooks is the
blog for my friend and fellow author, I-laana
Twine. She is a paranormal romance and fantasy author who always seems to
have tons of wisdom packed in each and every post. I met her through Goodreads
and have continued to keep a close relationship.
I hope
you enjoyed my stop on the blog hop. Keep reading, continue writing and be
well!

I really liked getting to know you better! I feel like you must be really good at singing to have done all that work in various groups ^^ I only know how to write!
Hey Olivia-Savannah,
Thank you very much for stopping by and I'm sorry I didn't see this until now! I really appreciate the comment. :)
Writing is an amazing gift that only few of us have. Embrace it!
